When I learned that 700,000 absentee ballots were effectively missing almost a month after Minnesota's 2020 election, but that barely anyone knew about this (I didn't learn about it until late in 2021), I set out to learn how this could have happened, and how I had missed it.

Hand Count
Last night, Monday 16 September, 2024, with a 3-2 vote the City of Anoka (in Anoka County) voted to expand its post election review hand count.

General Counsel, Justin R. Erickson apparently has tried to argue ballots can only be guarded after votes are tabulated, when the statute plainly states this can happen during the election (to avoid concerns of election codes and rules not being followed).

A Unanimous 3-0 Vote on Tuesday night reverted Collegeville Township back to In-Person Voting. Nearly 200 Citizens showed up in support. Many signed up at Tuesday's meeting to be Election Judges for the upcoming Elections. The Resolution was signed by the Chair and send to Stearns County Auditor
