Sherburne Auditor-Treasurer Diane Arnold Announces Retirement
Pursuant to Minn. Stat. § 382.02, the County Board will begin its effort to select and appoint an Auditor-Treasurer to complete the balance of the current elected term, which ends on Jan 4, 2027.
Effective July 9, 2024 - board to appoint next auditor pursuant to MN Stat § 382.02

After 34 years with Sherburne County, the past 17 of which have been as elected Auditor-Treasurer, Diane Arnold has announced her retirement from public service, effective July 9, 2024.
“It has been a pleasure to work for the citizens of Sherburne County, both as an employee of the County and as the elected Auditor-Treasurer. However, the time is right for me to step aside and spend more quality time with my family and friends.”
On behalf of the Board of Commissioners and all staff of Sherburne County, Board Chair Gregg Felber stated “We congratulate Diane on the culmination of an amazing career in service to Sherburne County and its residents. While we wish her all the best in retirement, Diane’s leadership, knowledge, and steady hand as Auditor-Treasurer will be sorely missed.”
